DRINKABLE PERFUME

Le Labo’s City Exclusives collection is a series of fragrances inspired by the characteristics of a major city. In 2012 Le Labo approached me about making a drinkable version of Poivre 23 - their homage to London.

The ‘perfumer’ cocktail was designed to taste like Poivre 23 smells. It is based on a black and green pepper alcohol infusion, Madagascar vanilla, patchouli, leather and sandal wood and was served at Lounge Bohemia during the London Olympic games with a sample of Poivre 23.

I have since worked with a number of perfumers to create drinkable versions of their perfumes.
